Under-active thyroid: THESE changes in your face can indicate hypothyroidism

The MSD Manual describes signs of hypothyroidism as “subtle and insidious.”

According to the well being frame, probably the most recurrently reported signs come with fluid retention and puffiness, particularly periorbital, tiredness, chilly intolerance and psychological fogginess.

However, changes in the facial expressions can even be a tell-tale signal of hypothyroidism.

“Facial expressions become dull, the voice is hoarse, speech is slow, eyelids droop and the eyes and face become puffy,” the MSD Manuals explains.
